In the 1940s, 1950s and 60s geelong lambswool was perceived as very smart, elegant, comfortable and practical. The famous items were the twin set for ladies and the classic mens pullovers under the jacket. Now designers are looking back into old archives and finding this new handle of designs with geelong attractive; geelong lambswool is making a comeback. Warm but light in weight, camelhair is extremely comfortable to wear, and will look smart for many years if washed regularly. Eribé's camelhair garments are hand finished and will become softer the more you wash them.
SHETLAND WOOL Shetland wool is taken from the small Shetland sheep which live on the Northern Scottish Islands of Shetland. The wool is the finest and softest in Britain; the crofters used to hand spin the yarn so fine that when they knitted lace shawls it fitted through a wedding ring. Our Eco-Shetland garments are undyed with all the colours of blacks, browns, beiges and greys being natural sheep colours. In order to reduce the petrol miles and maintain the product as ecological as possible, we spin and knit these garments in Shetland. More information on Shetland Wool
