ERIBÉ CELEBRATE 20TH BIRTHDAYJanuary 2006 Eribé to Celebrate their 20th Anniversary at the Edinburgh International Fashion Festival Galashiels 12th April 2006 – Borders-based ERIBÉ knitwear design will celebrate its 20th year in business in style when the capital throws open its doors to a flurry of fashion-ists later this month. For two decades ERIBÉ have been supplying luxury knitwear to leading department stores and chic boutiques in Japan, France, Germany and New York and their knitwear has graced the catwalks of UK designers such as Paul Smith and Margaret Howell, but this will be their first showcase in the capital. Says Rosemary Eribé, founder and Managing Director: “We are thrilled by this rare opportunity to exhibit on home ground, and especially to meet both city retailers and the buying public in such a fun atmosphere. So much of our growth over the last few years has been in export markets that many local people may not even have heard of us.” To mark the occasion and by way of celebrating their 20 years in business, ERIBÉ will be offering festival visitors the chance to buy a pure cashmere long-sleeved t-shirt at a very special price, (less than half price) as well as a range of cute little flower brooches. The core of the ERIBÉ collection has always been their hand-knits. With over 100 skilled knitters throughout Scotland, they are still able to satisfy a ever-growing demand for traditional patterns such as fine filigree Fairisles, lace and luxurious cables. For Winter 2007 ERIBE have created a “Vintage Glamour Collection” which will be on show during the festival. As part of the Edinburgh International Fashion Festival, ERIBÉ will be present at The Marketplace in Assembly Rooms (Music Hall) on Wed. 26th from 10:00 – 17:00 and Thurs. 27th April from 10:00 -18:30. Admission free. |
