Scottish Designer becomes TV Star in JapanEribé Knitwear Design will appear twice on Japanese TV this November. Japan’s first 24 hour shopping channel, Jupiter Shopping Channel, targets women interested in improving the quality of their lifestyle with unique and exclusive products. The channel is broadcast live to Japanese viewers and features interactive communication with its viewers.
The Channel discovered Eribé at the Edinburgh Festival last year and, being so impressed with the quality of design and the handle of Eribé’s products that they invited Eribé to visit them in Japan and go live on TV.
Eribé has developed a small range of accessories and loungewear especially for the channel and a year ago, Rosemary Eribé promoted hand-painted cashmere on the Channel. She hand-painted cashmere garments live on TV to give viewers an exclusive insight to one of Eribé’s specialities.
This November, Shona Forrester, Eribé sales manager, will make a live presentation of Eribé’s designs and will also promote the Scottish Borders using video footage. Shona will emphasise the uniqueness of Eribé’s products and their high quality whilst promoting their origin from their home in the Scottish Borders.
This exciting opportunity for Eribé proves the demand of Scottish Knitwear throughout the world.
